Chateau is a vertically integrated builder developer operating across South East Queensland. We originate, fund, design, construct and deliver our own commercial and industrial developments through a group of related entities, maintaining full control from acquisition through to completion.
Unlike traditional developers who outsource delivery, Chateau operates as both developer and licensed builder. This structure allows us to de risk projects, move faster, control quality and protect margins. Our pipeline includes industrial precincts, mixed use projects and large scale developments, with multiple projects running concurrently.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Directors across the Chateau group. This is a true executive support role, not a junior admin position. You will be embedded in the day to day running of the business and act as a central point of coordination between the Directors, internal team and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
• Managing complex calendars, meetings and priorities for the Directors• Acting as a gatekeeper and first point of contact• Preparing agendas, taking minutes and driving follow up actions• Coordinating schedules across projects, consultants, builders and advisors• Managing inboxes, correspondence and document flow• Assisting with preparation of reports, presentations and briefing notes• Liaising with lawyers, accountants, consultants, financiers and partners• Maintaining records, systems and internal processes• Anticipating needs, solving problems and keeping momentum across the business• Providing executive level administrative support to ensure the Directors can stay focused on strategy and delivery
About you
You are highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working directly with senior decision makers. You can manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly and handle confidential information with discretion. You take ownership, think ahead and operate with minimal supervision.
This role suits someone who wants to sit close to decision making, understands how fast moving development and construction businesses operate, and wants to become a trusted right hand to the Directors.
