Are you a skilled Grounds Maintenance/Mower Operator who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working outdoors?

Due to a new long-term contract, Indigenous Managed Services (IMS) is expanding our grounds maintenance team and is looking for a reliable, experienced operator to join us on the Kwinana strip.

IMS is a Government-approved contractor delivering professional land management and grounds maintenance services across WA. Our diverse team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous professionals brings expertise across landscaping, horticulture, irrigation, rehabilitation, and environmental care — all underpinned by strong safety, sustainability, and cultural values.
This is a secure, long-term opportunity with a supportive team, modern equipment, and consistent work.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining large commercial and industrial sites, including:

• Mowing and slashing grassed areas
• Operating ride-on and push mowers
• Weed control and weed spraying
• Mulching, hedging, and general pruning
• Reticulation maintenance
• General labouring and site upkeep as required
• Daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Maintaining clean, tidy, and hazard-free work areas

About You
You’ll ideally bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in grounds maintenance or commercial mowing
• Current Driver’s License 
• Confidence operating ride-on mowers
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and OH&S compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
• Own reliable transport

Highly regarded (but not essential):

• Pesticide/Chemical Technician Licence (training available)

You must be able to pass:

• Drug & Alcohol screening
• Pre-employment medical
