About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced, safety-focused Machine Operators to join our client, Australia’s leading integrated steel manufacturing and distribution company. Based in North Geelong, these casual roles offer full-time hours with multiple positions available.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded operators with strong computer skills and proven experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

Shift Options

• Afternoon Shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
• Night Shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of industrial machinery and equipment
• Monitor, adjust, and optimise machine settings
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Use computer systems for machine control, data entry, and performance monitoring
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards

Skills & Experience Required

• MUST HAVE A CURRENT FORKLIFT LICENCE WITH EXPERIENCE  
• Demonstrated experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Competent computer skills, including machine control systems and data input
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• High attention to detail, reliability, and consistency
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to pass a police check and pre-employment medical
