Mechanical Fitter / Pump Fitter Technician

Location: Tomago NSW

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Pump Fitter Technician to join our growing team in NSW. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work and competitive hourly rates.

About the Role

• Installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair of pumps and rotating equipment
• Mechanical fitting, alignment, fault finding and troubleshooting
• Workshop and site-based work
• Adhering to WHS policies and procedures

Requirements

• Cert III Mechanical Trade qualification (NSW recognised)
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Pump Fitter
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• White Card
• Driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Some Living away from home work
• Experience with centrifugal, Submersible and positive displacement pumps
• Site experience (water, wastewater, industrial or mining)
• Confined space / working at heights tickets (Desirable but not essential)
