Choices Flooring Tuggerah is seeking an Apprentice Floor Layer to join our team in Tuggerah NSW.

This is a full time position that will involve the installation of high-quality flooring products in both residential and commercial settings.

This role requires good physical fitness with some heavy lifting along with kneeling as part of daily flooring installation duties.

Apprentice wages based on the Award and Fair Work conditions.

Occasional job specific out of hours work may be required provided at overtime rates of pay.

What we are looking for

• Willingness to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Flooring Technology (online)

• Completion of Year 10 as a minimum

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions

• Valid Australian drivers licence

• Team Player

Duties (under supervision)

• Installing carpet

• Installing resilient finishes - sheet and plank

• Inspecting, measuring and preparing surfaces to be covered

• Inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings
