Personal Carer

Experienced personal female carers needed for (morning on call) afternoon and evening shifts for a person with a physical disability. Support is required to assist with a range of activities including personal care and domestic duties.

Employer: NDIS – Self Managed Participant

Location: Family home in Bateau Bay

Role: Personal carer(s)

Rate of pay: Casual hourly rate + super

• Weekdays $47/hr

• Saturdays $55/hr

• Sundays $65/h

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting me with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Supporting my bowel and bladder care following established routines

• Assisting with transfers and mobility using a hoist

• Helping with wheelchair positioning and pressure management

• Preparing meals and assisting with eating if required

• Completing light domestic tasks related to my care (laundry, tidying care areas)

• Monitoring my wellbeing and recognising signs of autonomic dysreflexia or other health concerns

• Assisting me to access the community and attend appointments when required
