Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated local truck driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating semi-trailers, B-double trailers, and transporting oversize loads within South East Queensland. This role requires a professional driver with a strong understanding of road safety, compliance regulations, and the ability to handle oversized freight.

We have an extensive training program if required.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate semi-trailers and B-double trailer sets, also transporting a variety of over-width and over-length loads.

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in top condition.

Secure and load cargo in compliance with safety regulations.

Manage required documentation, including logbooks, permits, and delivery paperwork.

Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and clients, providing updates as needed.

Adhere to all relevant road and traffic laws, maintaining a high standard of driving.

Report any issues or incidents to the management team promptly.

Requirements:

Valid HC Driver’s License.

Experience with securing loads, or willing to learn.

Strong focus on safety, with a clean driving record.

Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings.
