The Opportunity

Veolia NSW has a fantastic opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team based across the Illawarra Water Filtration Plant, Woronora Water Filtration Plant, and Gerringong/Gerroa Sewerage Scheme.
As the Program Manager for the Southern Region, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our projects portfolio (approximately $4M annually). You will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be responsible for

Oversee diverse water infrastructure projects across multiple sitesManage financial performance, resource allocation, and governanceLead commercial negotiations and facilitate the development of agreements with clients and contractorsBuild and maintain effective relationships with clients, Sydney Water, and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and manage KPIsChampion safety culture in alignment with Veolia's Always Safe CharterIdentify and mitigate project risks through regular health checksDevelop project documentation, reports, and technical specificationsExplore growth opportunities and drive efficiency improvementsSupport Operations & Maintenance Supervisors as required

What you'll need to be successful

• Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)• Proven experience leading portfolios of small to complex projects across multiple disciplines• Commercial acumen and experience delivering projects and programs under different delivery models• Strong project management capabilities with a track record of delivering results• Knowledge of asset management (experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or PLC/SCADA systems highly valued)
