If you are process driven and have a keen eye for detail, consider our Building Services Traineeship. In this role, you will review building applications and enter critical data into our Bass Coast Shire Council database. You’ll attend site inspections with your supervisor and gain the perfect foundation in building enforcement practices. A White Card qualification is also included in the training requirements.

  • Full-time 12-months fixed term commencing March 2026
  • Achieve a Certificate III qualification and valuable practical experience

The successful applicant will have

  • Ability to complete a Certificate III in Business
  • Enthusiasm for self-development and desire to use this opportunity to enhance career prospects
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Completion of Year 12 (VCE) or equivalent
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence

Westvic are partnering with Bass Coast Shire Council to offer 7 exciting Traineeships. Each Trainee will experience real-life work scenarios in their chosen area of interest. There will be exciting projects, exposure to systems and processes with real customers and community members to assist.

Explore different pathways, gain credible experience, build connections, make friends, and gain an industry specific Certificate III in Business qualification working as a Trainee.
