The Role – Café or Restaurant Manager

RUMI PERSIAN RESTAURANT PTY. LTD is seeking an experienced Café or Restaurant Manager to lead our team.

Tasks that the successful candidate will be required to work on:

· Planning menus in consultation with Chefs

· Planning and organising special functions

· Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget

· Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

· Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance

· Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service

· Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff

· May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

Required Skills and Experience:

· Previous experience as a Café or Restaurant Manager/ Food & Beverage Manager in a Hotel environment or similar setting to us preferred; 5-7 Years Experiance

· Previous experience running multifaceted site operation preferred;

· Knowledgeable across all dining periods including breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as strong conferencing experience;

· Able to lead a team with a hands on approach to problem solving;

· Excellent communication skills;

· Immaculate presentation and passionate customer service advocate.

Highly Desirable Skills:

· A natural born leader through strong culture and vision;

· Operate and run the department as if it was your own;

· Experienced in high level financial acumen is necessary, be experienced in hitting wage and revenue targets to maximize profitability;

· Be highly organised with an attention to detail that is second to none;

· Be hands-on and loves spending most of their time in the operation as you are customer obsessed.

. Masters Degree in Hospitality Management Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000-90,000 per year plus super

Schedule:

· 8 hour shift
