Reliable and education focused care giver needed

When:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 1pm

On a consistent and ongoing roster

We are looking for a kind natured, compassionate and gentle care giver to help me with our busy family. We have a beautiful happy 12 month-old girl and we have just had our second baby - a boy in July 2025. We are in Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast

We run a business in the community services sector - I will always have working from home responsibilities as I own the business hence the need for a long term and consistent carer.

We are hoping to find a long-term care giver someone that is willing to stick around for the long term and help us watch our babies grow and be a consistent part of their lives. We would love the caregiver to be bilingual - we’d love the opportunity for our kids to learn another language.

Dog friendly care givers are essential - we have 3 beautiful friendly trained disability support dogs (2 Belgian shepherds and a miniature poodle) they will be a part of your every day working life with us. They are part of our family, and they come many places with us.

What you will be responsible for:

-Beach trips, messy play, educational opportunities, walks, park trips, train trips, swimming, baby sensory classes, library trips, indoor playground trips, arts and crafts at home - not much is off limits I want them to experience it all. please bring your ideas we are happy for the babies to try almost anything we aren't precious.

-Light house-keeping duties - a load of the babies bottles, a load of washing for the kids, a vacuum and a mop of the floor or generally just a tidy of the things the babies have been playing with that day - babies like to sleep which will give you some down time to get a few light tasks done.

-The odd meal prep and providing meals and snacks to my oldest - the youngest just has bottles

-Being a person that my babies will grow to love and trust.

-Nappy changes, bath times etc

-Coming along with myself or my partner to our workplace with the babies from time to time.

-Coming along to classes or events from time to time with mum or Dad and the babies as an extra set of hands.

What you need:

- working with children check and police check

-first aid and CPR Certificate

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
