Your new company
An exciting opportunity to join a busy team within a public sector organisation on a temporary engagement. They are currently seeking a Credit Officer, to start immediately on a 3 – 6-month contract. This is a full-time temporary contract from Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
Your new role
As the Credits officer, you will manage end to end AP, from purchase order input through to supplier payment, working within a small team of 3.
You will also be responsible for:
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations
- Oversee monthly reporting, account reconciliation and creditor ledger integrity, including
- Preparing end-of-year audit documentation
- Assist with the maintaining and integrity of the creditors' supplier listing and liaising with
- Procurement ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and enforcing strong internal controls in creditor operations
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of creditor invoices
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking a well-presented and team-focused Accounts Payable/Credits officer who will possess excellent skills and knowledge of invoicing and MS Excel. You will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally. Experience in processing a high number of invoices, attention to detail and strong administration skills.
Experience using TechnologOne would be highly desirable.
