Position: Motor Mechanic – Full-Time Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation About the Role

The Motor Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and operating at optimal performance. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong diagnostic ability and practical mechanical skills. Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose mechanical faults using manual and computerised diagnostic tools. 2. Service and repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and fuel systems. 3. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections.

4. Inspect vehicles to identify worn or faulty components and recommend necessary repairs. 5. Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair to ensure correct operation. 6. Conduct road tests where required to verify repair quality.

7. Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and repair documentation. 8. Assist with ordering and managing spare parts. 9. Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements.

10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Skills & Experience 1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.

2. One-two years of working experience as a Motor Mechanic in a commercial workshop environment. 3. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures. 4. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple jobs.

5. Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach. 6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. How to Apply
