Your Responsibilities

As the Engagement Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Daily reports on absenteeism, including SMS messages to parents/carers, advise and follow up with teachers on student absenteeismCollect and coordinate data to determine and document reasons for absences by students who are chronically absent.Monitor attendance as a means of increasing awareness of students experiencing problems, and to allow for interventionCreating student programs to engageForge links between the school and families of students who show persistent absence from school to encourage attendanceIdentify barriers to students attending school and achieving outcomes by referral to appropriate support services, especially students at riskOther suitable duties, consistent with he duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.Experience in OneSchool and ID Attend will be highly regarded.
