We are looking for someone to manage our accounts and general office administration activities.
You'll be experienced with accounts and bookkeeping tasks and ideally a Xero advisor and with that will come opportunities to expand your role and help our clients too.
What you'll be doing in your new role
In the Accounts & Office Administration role, you will be the first point of contact and go-to person for all administrative & accounts tasks whilst assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office.
You will provide bookkeeping services to the company, processing and reconciling transactions and providing general support to our varied business activities.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping / Accounting:

Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
-
Entering invoices/bills from suppliers and matching to PO's
-
Follow up unpaid customer accounts.

Enter payments received to bank account against customer invoices.

Reconcile subscription billing activity
-
Maintain accurate records and transaction activity in our supporting systems
Customer service:
-
Provide support to the answering of the office phone
-
Passing on messages to the correct person with all appropriate details.

Ensuring high standards of customer service are being maintained

Managing your assigned email mailboxes and responding where appropriate.
Office Administration:

Supporting our team of consultants with general office tasks

Manage cleaning and rubbish collection activities

Maintain company policies and procedures

Promote positive workplace culture
Essential Competencies:
-
Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications
-
Minimum diploma level qualification in accounting or bookkeeping required

Practical experience with Microsoft desktop solutions
-
Experience with accounting software products.

Proven experience with Xero accounting software essential

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Be able to work in small business, autonomously and multi-tasking.
