We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Cleaner to join our cleaning team. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

• General cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways and common areas
• Cleaning and sanitising desks, chairs, benches, and learning areas
• Maintaining cleanliness of toilets, washrooms and staff facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and rubbish removal
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks meet school and safety standards
• Reporting any hazards, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to management

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (schools or commercial cleaning a bonus)
• Ability to work independently and follow a routine
• Understanding of safe work practices and hygiene standards
• Commitment to reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Must hold (or be willing to obtain):
• Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
• Police Check
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
