The Nitty Gritty
Reporting to the Exploration Technician Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the processing of drill core which will include meter marking, core orientation, cutting, sampling and measuring specific gravity, in addition to other tasks from time to time. You will also coordinate and manage the collection of core from operational sites at Tritton and deliver the highest quality data in line with Industry best practice, and Aeris policies and procedures.
Teamwork – operate collaboratively with the broader Aeris geological team, notably the Resource Development, Greenfields Exploration and Mine Geology teams, to foster a positive work culture, and deliver best practice geological outputs. Risk Management – identify and mitigate risks associated with daily tasks. Stakeholder Engagement - engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Continuous Improvement - drive continuous improvement initiative to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team.
You Are
Living within 1 hour drive from site or with accommodation available in local area. Manual drivers license essential (must be current and proficient in the operation of a manual 4wd) Previous work experience outdoors and/or the ability to perform repetitive manual labour tasks is essential Demonstrate proactive safety behaviour Enthusiasm and a strong ability to work well in a team environment is critical! Strong written and verbal communication skills High standard of work quality High Risk forklift licence - desirable First Aid certificate - desirable

The Company
Tritton Operations
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
