Located on the corner of Victoria & Peel Streets in Mackay's CBD, the Austral Hotel has had a reputation for years as the best Steakhouse in town. Our menu offers variety of premium cuts of beef, along with an array of other menu items and a fine selection of wines.

About You

You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervisingYou’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step upYou’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away You hold current industry qualifications (RSA, RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager), or are willing to obtain them.
