The Opportunity
As an Aquatic Education Instructor, you’ll plan and deliver fun and high-quality swim lessons that meet the needs of a range of pupils. Working within a swim program, you’ll build strong relationships with pupils and parents and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all who attend our recreation centres.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging swim lessons for diverse pupils.Maintain accurate records and conduct regular assessments.Respond to emergencies and assist with pool safety.Promote the facility and support its programs.

Requiredqualifications
Current AustSwim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.Current CPR Certificate.Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate.Current Working with Children Check
It would be great (but not required) if you also have:
Previous experience in the Aquatics Industry.Previous experience in ‘Learn to Swim’ programs.AustSwim Certificate – Teacher of Infant Aquatics or equivalentAustSwim Certificate – Teacher of Aquatics for people with disability or equivalent. Swim Coaching Qualification – or equivalent. Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
If successful, you will need to obtain a police check, have an employee Working with Children Check, and the required qualifications prior to commencing in the role. You must also be legally able to work in Australia.
