Content Creator / Marketing Assistant

Proud Poppy Clothing | Gold Coast (with some travel)

We’re on the hunt for a content gun who lives and breathes social content and wants to grow inside a fast-moving, founder-led brand.

This role is hands-on. You’ll be in the thick of shoots, events, stores, launches and behind-the-scenes moments - capturing, editing and repurposing content that actually converts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with photoshoot prep (styling support, organisation, shoot readiness)

• Assisting on photoshoots and content days

• Capturing short-form video and imagery for Instagram, TikTok and other platforms

• Editing Reels and TikToks with confidence (hooks, pacing, captions, trends)

• Understanding how content needs to change per platform - not just reposting the same video everywhere

• Repurposing one piece of content into multiple high-performing formats

• Supporting content capture at stores, pop-ups and interstate events (some occasional travel required)

• Uploading, organising and tagging content in shared drives for wider team and agencies

• Bonus points if you can edit podcast video clips (not essential, but highly valued)

What we’re looking for:

• A strong interest in content, social media and digital marketing

• Confident using editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)

• An eye for hooks, trends and storytelling

• Comfortable being on show, moving fast and thinking on your feet

• Organised, reliable and proactive - you notice what needs doing and just do it

• Hungry to learn, improve and build a career in the fashion / eCommerce space
