ACCOUNTANT

 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team based in Blaxland.

This role is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide support for budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include development of operational budgets, monthly financial reporting, preparation and lodgment of BAS, bank reconciliations and compliance monitoring.

 The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline, with CPA certification highly regarded. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a comparable position. Strong expertise in management accounting, budgeting and reporting is essential, along with a sound understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and financial compliance. Experience in managing audits and grant acquittals is also required.
