About Your new role
Due to our significant growth, we are seeking a new Team Leader who will be responsible for overseeing the provision of quality care and support services across multiple residential SIL homes. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Develop, implement, and review processes and procedures to enhance the quality of support and services.

Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.

Lead and support a team of Key Workers and Support Workers, ensuring high-quality services are delivered in line with NDIS Practice Standards.

Ensure participants receive support that aligns with their care plans and helps achieve their individual goals.

Implement and maintain effective communication and information management systems across all sites.

Assist with the coordination and transition of new participants into services.

Ensure participant documentation is accurate, complete, and regularly updated.

Provide guidance to teams on complex issues, risk management, and incident response.

Perform general administrative duties as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Key Selection Criteria
-
Relevant industry-related formal qualifications (preferred but not mandatory)
-
Understanding and experience in delivering services in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of the complex needs of people living with disability.
-
Experience managing support services for participants with complex disability & mental Health care requirements.
-
Strong understanding of restrictive practices and associated reporting protocols.
-
Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards as they relate to Supported Independent Living (SIL).

Experience coordinating and maintaining SIL service arrangements and programs of support.
-
Knowledge of reportable incidents and incident reporting procedures.

Experience managing and supporting staff performance.
-
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.

Demonstrated strong work ethic and professionalism.
You will have (or willing to obtain):

Experience working with disability and/or mental health participants
-
First Aid and CPR certificates
-
A current Australian Drivers licence (minimum P2)

A NDIS Worker Check.

A Working with Children Check
-
A current Police Check
