$50 - $65 per hour + super (based on experience)

G1 Projects are currently looking for leading hand Shopfitters to join our growing team.

G1 Projects is a Shopfitting company that specialises in the retail sector.  We are a team-oriented company with a strong culture and many opportunities to learn and grow. We are looking for multiple leading hands with a big opportunity to grow within our team. We are passionate about the service and quality of work we provide. 

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, someone who can manage a site, with an eye for detail, who is passionate and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Full training provided and on-going support.

 Tasks and responsibilities

• Site set out

• Site management when required

• Interpret plans and drawings

• Building and sheeting walls

• Joinery install 

• Shopfront works

• Skirting and architraves 

• Hanging doors

• Fixture installs 

• Building fitting rooms

• Caulking etc

• Carpentry and cabinetry

• Structural works

• Meet strict deadlines

• Maintenance work

• Demolition work

To be successful for this role, it is essential that you have/are:

• Experience in Shopfitting is essential

• Attention to detail 

• White card (essential)

• High Risk licenses (preferred)

• OHS knowledge

• Good communication skills

• Able to take directions

• Delegate when required 

• Have people skills to be able to work alongside the team and with other trades

• Dedicated and self-motivated

• Hard working with problem solving skills

• Good positive can do attitude 

• Current Australian drivers license and own transport

• Must be available Monday - Friday and occasional weekends

• Willing and able to travel for work when necessary 

• Be willing to work overtime as required
