About The Role

As a Crew Member you will be a part if a skilled team delivering high quality construction works, predominantly in roads and drainage. This is a varied and physical role where no two days are the same - from concreting and pavements to drainage works and site preparation.

Key Activities Of This Role Include

Carrying out construction labouring duties across roads, drainage and concreting worksOperating small plant and equipment such as rollers, compactors, chainsaws, concrete saws and electrical toolsPreparing and maintaining works sites including traffic control, safety and environmental measuresAssisting with Water and Sewer adjustments and relocations when requiredWorking a part of a team

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

General Induction Card (White) for Construction Works or equivalentClass C Driver’s LicenceTraffic Controller Licence or willingness to obtainSafe Work near Overhead Power Lines or willingness to obtain Recent experience in civil or construction worksExperience in concreting, pavements and formworkAbility to operate minor plant equipment

Other Important Information

The commencing salary for this position is up to $63.5K per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $73.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation We have a permanent full-time roles availableThis role will be able to access a 9 day fortnightThis role is located at the Erina Works Depot
