Where you'll be working
The Strategy, Innovation and Digital Health Team encompasses strategic planning functions, analytics, technology, change, and project management resources to ensure strategic allocation of resources to key organisational priorities and initiatives. Built around three key pillars, it drives and enables the delivery of key strategic and operational initiatives by developing innovative solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery. The directorate oversees the development of organisation strategies and plans, while also monitoring the implementation of such plans. This department handles SESLHD’s most pressing organisational problems and explores opportunities such as technology in Health, change and innovation and environmental sustainability practices.
The Role

The Workspace Support Team Leader is responsible for the provision of a range of customer services to support the efficient and effective operation of the desktop environment, core and relevant office business applications and related ICT infrastructure.
This position is deemed as the senior technical position within Workspace Support Services and as such, provides technical support and leadership to sector staff. The position includes support for installation, configuration and provide troubleshooting guidelines for team members.
The incumbent will also manage escalated incidents to resolution for tickets that are logged via Service Desk for the LHN Desktop Environment. This may also include the management of services provided by external organizations either on premise, in the cloud or other locations. The Team Leader will contribute in governance and decision making of workspace Support Services.

Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience providing end-user computing services and desktop administration in a large organisation. Demonstrated experience in supporting hardware and software lifecycle management, mobile device management, print management, administration of cloud services, Active Directory management, Group Policy administration and experience in MDM platforms such as InTune or Workspace ONE. Demonstrated experience in SCCM administration, SOE development and management, Windows Update Management, Visual Basic, PowerShell scripting and apps packaging. Demonstrated ability to proactively prioritise and manage own workload timely, whilst managing conflicting priorities and assist other team members where appropriate. Demonstrated experience drafting technical documentation and FAQs for both technical staff and clients. Proven experience in the understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, risk management, application configuration management and service level management. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in relation to existing services and processes, whilst demonstrating conceptual and innovative problem solving skills to develop, implement and monitor strategies and solutions across complex areas. Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to consult, influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
