We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you’re an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Where you’ll work

Drouin West Kindergarten is proud of its close knit team, that provide a warm, community-focused program that reflects the values of the local families. This role would suit an educator who enjoys building strong relationships and bringing creativity and connection to a team environment.

Role Details:

Diploma Educator

Tuesday and Thursday – 10.30am to 2:00pm

7 lunch cover hours per week

What You’ll Do

As a Lunch Cover Educator, you’ll:

  • Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children
  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play
  • Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security
  • Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold the Y’s standards of excellence and inclusion

What You’ll Bring

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward this qualification)
  • Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • A genuine love for children and a commitment to learning and professional growth
