H-E Parts Engineering are part of the H-E Parts International group, which is in turn a division of Hitachi.  We provide machining services for Mining, Maritime, Oil and Gas and a variety of other commercial customers. The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Branch Manager for our Naval Base facility in Western Australia.

This role would suit someone who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey and wants to build on their operational, people management, and commercial skills in a management role. You’ll be trusted to run the branch day-to-day while also contributing to longer-term planning, continuous improvement, and business growth opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support a team of direct reports, creating a safe, engaged, and high performing workplace

  • Oversee operational delivery of a large machining workshop to ensure work is completed safely, on time, to quality standards, and in line with quoted margins,

  • Manage branch financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and cost control

  • Work with Sales and customers to meet targets and identify new opportunities,

  • Support team development through regular performance conversations and coaching

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN and 5S practices, and

  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, labour hire partners, and internal stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need;

  • A trade qualification or significant experience (10+ years) in a machining, manufacturing or similar/related environment

  • A strong desire to learn and grow yourself and the business

  • A practical understanding of workshop operations, cost control, and customer delivery

  • Confidence working with budgets, forecasts, and performance data, and a willingness to learn more

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work constructively with different teams, and
