This Ability is a disability service provider servicing the Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, and Tweed. We specialise in community access and in home support, as well as the occasional STA for our clients. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by providing personalised support that enhances independence and quality of life.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Taking clients out for community participation and activities

• Transporting clients

• Household tasks such as cleaning

• Companionship

• Mentorship and life skills

• Every day task such as meal prep, shopping and appointments

Candidates must be available for flexible scheduling to accommodate client needs across various shift patterns.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities

· Experience as a disability support worker preferred but not essential

· NDIS workers screening clearance (Yellow Card)

· Working with children's check (Blue Card)

· Current first aid/CPR certificate

· Have the right to work in Australia

· Drivers License with Comprehensive Car Insurance

· Some clearances and certificates are required at the time of application, whilst others can be obtained flexibly during the hiring process.
