Job Title: Transport Supervisor – Adrian's Metal Recycling

We are committed to sustainability and delivering exceptional service to our customers within Northern NSW and SE QLD area. We are looking for a motivated and organized Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team and manage our transportation operations efficiently.
About the role:
Based in our Gold Coast location, this is a vital role. You are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coordination of transport and related administrative activities that support Adrian's. We operate a fleet of 9 trucks, consisting of Flat beds, Tilt Tray, Skip and a Body Truck. You will work closely with our customers and internal teams. We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Transport Supervisor to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:

Utilize ServiceM8 to manage and load job bookings, dispatch, and direct drivers' workflow.

Coordinate transport requests for materials and equipment.

Monitor and optimize transport routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with NHVL and CoR regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless operations.

Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and value creation strategies.

Maintain compliance with EHS standards.

Prepare reports on transport activities, costs, and performance metrics.
About you:
As a motivated and experienced Transport Supervisor, you will have expert attention to detail and a willingness to adapt within a fast-paced environment. Your positive attitude and ability to forward think is highly regarded, along with:

Proven experience in transport coordination, logistics, or a similar role.

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in transport coordination or logistics roles is essential.

Previous experience with ServiceM8, 3CX software is highly desirable.

Intermediate computer skills are required to effectively utilise ServiceM8 for job management and dispatch operations.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable and confident liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Knowledge of cars and the metal recycling industry is an advantage but not essential.
