The Role

As the Activities Manager, you will lead all guest activities and tour operations at Undara Experience. This includes guest transfers, tour delivery, guide training, and supporting local marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with all resort departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience while meeting operational and financial targets in line with Discovery Parks standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role, and you will also step in as a Tour Guide when required.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an Activities Manager or similar roleStrong organisational and logistical planning skillsProven leadership experience, including rostering and financial managementCommitment to delivering exceptional guest experiencesExperience with Opera, Micros POS and Microsoft OfficeEvent planning and coordination experienceResort or hospitality industry knowledgeStrong verbal and written communication skillsConfident decision-making and delegation skills

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, Tourism or Hospitality ManagementSenior First Aid CertificateFull open manual driver’s licenceQLD Driver Authorisation (desirable)Medium Rigid (MR) licence (desirable)

Located 275km south-west of Cairns, Undara Experience is the gateway to the internationally significant Undara Lava Tube system, formed by volcanic activity around 190,000 years ago. Positioned along the iconic Savannah Way touring route, Undara offers a truly unique outback experience.
