Remuneration: $73,427.00 – $113,226.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

- Part Time Temporary- 19 Hours Per Week – Deniliquin

What you’ll be doing:

Using innovative, evidence-based education, as the MyStep to Mental Wellbeing Clinician, you’ll provide recovery‑focused mental health support to people with complex needs.

You will:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments and develop personalised care plans.
  • Deliver evidence‑based therapeutic interventions including CBT, ACT, DBT and solution‑focused approaches.
  • Work collaboratively through intake, case conferencing, joint sessions, and coordinated care with GPs, psychiatrists, allied health and community services.
  • Support holistic wellbeing through physical health screening and medication effect monitoring.
  • Manage and escalate risks to ensure consumer safety.
  • Provide flexible support via face‑to‑face, telehealth and outreach across the region.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and required data reporting (PMHC‑MDS).

Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

Criteria:

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional association.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a consumer‑led, recovery‑oriented framework, supporting people with complex mental health needs.

  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing collaborative treatment and care plans with consumers, families and carers

  • Understanding of relevant mental health legislation, guidelines, and the responsibilities relating to consumers, families and carers.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution.
