Business Analyst
Location: Henderson 
Rate: $60 per hour + super 
Employment Type: Contract

Pearl Recruitment is recruiting for a major defence contractor working on some of Australia's largest naval security projects. They are renowned for delivering complex, high-value projects across Australia and internationally.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team to create detailed process maps and offer functional support as they go through a transformation process. 
  
About the Role:
You will analyse and report on current functions and processes, identify opportunities for improvement. You will work closely in a team of other BA's as well as, key stakeholders to drive process improvements. 
  
What We’re Looking For:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or on IT/technology projects.
• Basic to intermediate experience in eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements (user stories, use cases, process maps).
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud platforms, and data visualisation tools.
• Some knowledge of data science or AI workflows is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve processes and outcomes.
