The Role

As a Team Leader Grader Operator, you’ll lead a small crew in delivering high‑quality road maintenance and gravel re‑sheeting projects across the region.

You Will

Operate graders confidently and safely across varying terrain.

Manage and deliver gravel re‑sheeting and road maintenance projects.

Carry out minor equipment maintenance.

Liaise with quarry staff and implement safe traffic controls.

Maintain accurate documentation and project records.

Foster a safe and positive team environment that reflects Council’s values.

You’ll bring extensive grader operating experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safe, efficient, high‑quality work. Clear communication and a customer‑focused approach will help you work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and community members.
