We're seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our team at our beautiful new Victor Harbor (Chiton) centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role, supporting and inspiring a team of educators to deliver exceptional programs that help children thrive.
 
About the Role
 
As Educational Leader, you'll mentor and guide educators to plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality educational programs in line with the EYLF, NQS, and our service philosophy.
You'll work alongside the Centre Director to drive continuous improvement, foster reflective practice, and ensure each child's learning journey is meaningful and engaging.
 
What We're Looking For

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) or Diploma qualification (ACECQA-approved)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an early childhood education role
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
• A passion for inspiring educators and supporting each child's learning and development
• Experience using OWNA software is a plus (but not essential)
• Commitment to being a proud Child Safe Organisation, fostering warm, secure, and trusted environments where every child is safe, respected, and supported

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide educators in developing and delivering inspiring educational programs
• Lead reflective practice, observation, and documentation to enhance outcomes for children
• Support the team in meeting and exceeding the National Quality Standards
• Collaborate with families and the community to create meaningful connections
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and teamwork
• Support the Centre Director in ensuring high standards of care and education
