Your part in our UnitingCare teamÂ
The Youth Worker will work as part of the UnitingCare Queensland team in Townsville to support the Family Support Program, ASPIRE Program and Targeted Family Support.
As a Youth Worker, you will provide a holistic response to the needs of each individual in the family and the family unit as a whole.
In line with the case plans, the Youth Worker:

Supports youth, parents and carers by facilitating their participation and inclusion into the community.

Assisting youth, parents and carers to build skills, independence and social networks.

Help make informed choices about their lives and futures
What makes a difference for us?
-
Qualifications in relevant youth work, social science or other behavioural sciences field and\or other appropriate work experience.

Demonstrated experience of working within the community sector to support vulnerable youth/families
-
Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with youth and their families.

Current Driver License
-
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
