This remote town is a gateway to the Gulf, renowned for its fishing, birdwatching, and unique outback-meets-coast experience.

Sunset Tavern is one of Karumba’s most iconic establishments, offering stunning views of the sunset over the Gulf. The tavern is a central hub for both locals and tourists, providing a welcoming environment to relax, dine, and enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing excellent customer service across the bar
• Pouring and serving beverages responsibly
• Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and service areas
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

About You

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) required
• RSA (Responsible Service of Gaming) desirable
• Previous experience in a bar, tavern, or hospitality venue is an advantage
• Availability to work hospitality hours - 7-day rotating roster with weekend work.
• Passion for the industry and desire to learn
