About the Opportunity

Glenelg Shire Council is seeking a proactive and organised professional for the role of Works Coordinator.

This key leadership position manages the efficient delivery of Council Road & Infrastructure maintenance and Parks & Gardens programs. You will develop and execute works plans, adequately resource teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, effectively, on time and within budget, while maintaining strong regard for quality and environmental standards.

The role also coordinates road inspections in line with the Road Management Plan and supports the financial and administrative performance of the Unit.

The Depot team leaders report to this position, you’ll be required to manage, develop and motivate staff and help drive continuous improvement across Council operations.
