The Role – Making Every Journey Count

Ventura’s Bus Drivers play an essential role in keeping our communities moving and connected. No two days are the same, with drivers delivering a wide range of services including public transport, school routes, rail replacement services, charters, and special events.

Our drivers are highly valued and respected and are strongly supported by an experienced management team. We currently have multiple Full-Time Bus Driver positions available at our Pakenham Depot. We are seeking passionate individuals who enjoy driving, have a strong customer focus, and take pride in delivering safe and exceptional passenger experiences while serving their community.

Applicants must be flexible and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, early morning starts, and late-night shifts.

No Licence? No Problem!

At Ventura, we believe in potential. That’s why we offer Medium Rigid (MR) licence training for suitable applicants. If you have the right attitude and a passion for customer service, we’ll help you get qualified and confidently on the road.

What We Are Looking For

• A current Victorian car licence or heavy vehicle licence
• A strong customer focus with a willingness to assist passengers when required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A demonstrated safe driving record
• A high regard for safety, road rules, and regulations
• A strong commitment to safety
• The ability to obtain relevant medical and background clearances, including Driver’s Accreditation (DC) and a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
