Our mission is simple: restore damaged properties to their pre-loss condition as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible, while minimising disruption to property owners.
With an outstanding reputation across the insurance and restoration industry, CIRTS delivers remediation services to insurance builders, insurers, government agencies, and private clients across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, childcare, aged care and government sectors.
Our projects span NSW (Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle/Hunter, Northern Rivers) and Southern Queensland, often involving complex and rewarding restoration work.
The Role
We are currently seeking Restoration Technicians to join our growing team.
This opportunity is open to all experience levels, including:

Experienced IICRC-qualified Restoration Technicians
-
General labourers or cleaners looking to transition into the restoration industry
-
Motivated individuals seeking long-term career progression
Roles are based in the NSW Northern Rivers or Gold Coast regions , with projects ranging from Ballina to the Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities
For Experienced Restoration Technicians
-
Conducting detailed site inspections and damage assessments
-
Preparing reports including:
-
Cause of loss
-
Technical and general observations
-
Moisture mapping and psychrometric surveys
-
Photographic evidence
-
-
Preparing accurate scopes of works and cost estimates
-
Carrying out make-safe and restoration works including:
-
Water extraction and structural drying
-
Containment and remediation
-
Basic demolition and restoration cleaning
-
-
Maintaining strong communication with clients, insurers, builders, and key stakeholders
For Entry-Level / Inexperienced Technicians
-
Assisting with demolition and restoration cleaning tasks
-
Manual labour including carrying materials and loading/unloading equipment
-
Dismantling and removing damaged materials, debris, and waste
-
Using power tools under supervision (training provided)
-
Cleaning and sanitising affected areas (vacuuming, mopping, wet wiping)
-
Maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles
-
Following WHS procedures and maintaining a safe, organised worksite
About You
You will ideally:

Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Be well presented with a high level of customer service

Communicate clearly and professionally (written & verbal)
-
Be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Be physically fit and capable of manual work

Show attention to detail and pride in your work

Have experience in general labouring or cleaning (highly regarded but not essential)
Essential Requirements

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
-
Construction White Card
-
Ability to work in the Central Coast or Newcastle regions

Willingness to obtain additional certifications if required
Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)

IICRC Certification
-
Previous restoration experience
-
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
