The Commercial Manager is a critical senior leadership role, accountable for leading the Commercial and Sales function across ANZ. Reporting to the General Manager – Pacific and managing a team of 6 direct reports, the role carries end-to-end accountability for revenue growth, margin performance, customer retention, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and year-on-year account progression. This is not a transactional sales leadership role. Success will be driven by disciplined commercial execution, strong customer partnerships, and the ability to align commercial ambition with manufacturing capability, capacity utilisation, and operational readiness. The role requires close and structured collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and Finance teams to ensure customer commitments, pricing decisions, and growth initiatives are executable, commercially sound, and aligned to operational and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and credible commercial leader, recognised for driving profitable growth and building long-term customer partnerships within FMCG, food, beverage, and industrial customers. You will bring a strong track record of leading commercial and sales functions with accountability for revenue growth, margin performance, forecasting accuracy, and customer retention across complex, operationally intensive businesses.

Critical for consideration:

  • 8–10 years’ senior commercial or sales leadership experience within FMCG, packaging, or manufacturing-led environments;

  • Demonstrated accountability for revenue growth, margin performance, customer retention, and forecasting accuracy;

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing discipline, margin optimisation, and contract governance;

  • Proven experience leading and developing commercial and sales teams across complex customer portfolios;

  • Ability to partner effectively with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and Finance to align commercial outcomes with execution Experience operating within structured governance frameworks, including pipeline management, CRM discipline, and performance reporting;

  • Data-driven approach to decision making, forecasting, and commercial performance management; and

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
