How You’ll Shine
As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key leadership role within our Hospitality Finance team, overseeing corporate accounting activities across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. You will be responsible for maintaining strong financial governance, leading a geographically dispersed accounting team, and partnering closely with senior finance and operational leaders to support business performance.
This role offers a blend of hands-on technical accounting, people leadership, and strategic collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Lead and develop a high-performing corporate accounting team across Bundall and Clark locationsOversee monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with group policies and accounting standardsManage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors and professional advisorsEnsure all taxation obligations are met across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, including GST, BAS, FBT, income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing requirementsReview balance sheet reconciliations monthly and ensure timely resolution of outstanding itemsCoordinate the preparation and lodgement of annual and half-year statutory financial reportsMaintain robust financial controls and identify opportunities to strengthen control environmentsOversee intercompany accounting processes and ensure appropriate controls are in placeLead the annual budgeting process for club and resort operationsPartner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and support informed decision-makingFoster a strong team culture aligned with company values, ensuring staff capability, engagement, and ongoing development
What You’ll Bring
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting with CA or CPA certification Demonstrated experience leading and developing accounting teamsStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise (IFRS experience essential)Solid taxation knowledge across multiple jurisdictionsExperience working in complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environmentsStrong attention to detail with the ability to meet regular reporting deadlinesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHospitality or resort industry experience highly regarded
