About the role
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Intake Officer to join our team on a casual basis. Based in our South Geelong office, this role is responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to our Allied Health services. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing

Managing all incoming referrals including gathering all information and documentation required.

Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner

Managing client inquiries and coordinating initial appointments

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating client information in our database

Assisting with general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Providing exceptional customer service to our clients at all times
What we're looking for

Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
