Bright Steps Academy Chiton (Victor Harbor) is opening a brand-new, purpose-built childcare centre catering for 0-6 years old - and we're looking for an Assistant Director to join our founding team.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the culture of a new centre, inspire educators, and build strong relationships with families and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in daily operations and team management
• Assist with enrolments, compliance, and reporting
• Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality programs
• Build and maintain strong family and community connections

About You

• Experience in a leadership or senior educator role within Early Childhood Education (Centre Director: 2+ years preferred)
• ECT qualification or Diploma (or equivalent)
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards
• A genuine passion for inspiring people and delivering exceptional care
• Collaborative and people-focused approach
