The team is led by Dr Nick Marsden, a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Lecturer at UOW, and accredited Schema Therapist (advanced) and Schema Therapy Supervisor. Nick is enthusiastic and passionate about training clinicians in advanced trauma therapy models, including providing supervision and training for official schema therapy accreditation.
Supervision and training can also be provided to develop therapy skills for working systemically and creatively with children, adolescents and families (including schema therapy for children and adolescents).

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Senior Clinical or General Psychologist with 4+ years experience
(Full-time or Part-time)
(Independent Contractor arrangement may be considered depending on level of independence of clinician)
The Senior Psychologist (Clinical/General) will provide leadership that facilitates the provision of high quality clinical care aligned with the individual client’s needs, within a stepped-care model of service provision. There is an expectation that the Senior Psychologist have a higher level of knowledge and experience in a specific area of practice that is demonstrated through the level of competence, initiative, innovation, responsibility, and professional recognition. This role is well suited to a psychologist with 4+ years experience post-qualification who either has some experience in a senior role or who may be ready to take the next step in their career development.
You will join us in providing specialised assessment, intervention, and support for children/adolescents and/or adults. This role involves a balance between clinical case load and supervision/managerial responsibilities, including the following:

Oversee, as well as participate in, day-to-day clinical service delivery;

Exercise a high level of skill and independent judgement in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention, diagnostic evaluation and consultancy to clients and their families/carers;

Contribute to the development of protocols for individual and group treatment programs and developing assessment procedures for clinical decision making

Supervision of early career psychologists (Board Approved Supervisor status required) and assist the Senior Leadership team with the development of internal training and development programs;

Contribute to the setting up of evaluation systems for programs and services and major quality improvement projects
Remuneration: $117,000 –$145,000 (pro rata FTE) salary package (including superannuation, loadings, and benefits such as access to maternity leave) as well as professional development support, including supervision.

Clinical or General Psychologist
(Full-time or Part-time)
We’re looking for a warm, motivated psychologist to join our growing team. In this role, you will:

Provide evidence-based therapy for children/adolescents, and/or adults

Work across NDIS, Medicare, and private service streams

Expand your clinical skills with support from experienced colleagues (including specialised supervision options such as Schema Therapy Supervision for ISST Accreditation)

Help develop creative programs and therapeutic approaches for our services as a whole

Contribute to a collaborative and values-driven team environment
Remuneration: $100,000 –$130,000 (pro rata FTE) salary package (including superannuation, loadings, and benefits such as access to maternity leave) as well as professional development support, including supervision to meet AHPRA requirements.
