About The Opportunity
The Pharmacy Technician role is part of the Operational Dispensary team and is based at Gosford Hospital, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm. In this role, you will support pharmacists by delivering essential services including:
Dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals.Inventory management and stock coordination.Participation in the Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Management team when needed.Ensuring continuity of service across CCLHD sites.Your work will help ensure optimal pharmacy services for patients and staff, contributing directly to quality healthcare outcomes.

About You
Qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or Certificate III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital and Community Pharmacy (e.g. Charles Sturt University) or equivalent qualifications with the ability to rotate across CCLHD sites and participate in after hours, weekend and public holiday rosters when requiredDemonstrated understanding and experience of dispensing/issuing of pharmaceuticals in a hospital or community pharmacy setting or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to effectively use workplace information technology, including strong typing skills and familiarity with the use of pharmacy software
