About the role
We are seeking a diligent and organised Branch Assistant to join our team at Tradelink in Townsville, QLD. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth running of our local branch, providing vital support to the branch manager and team.
What you'll be doing

Assisting with the daily operations and administrative tasks of the branch

Receiving and processing customer orders and enquiries efficiently

Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels

Deliveries and liaising with suppliers

Providing excellent customer service to both trade and retail clients

Supporting the branch manager with any other duties as required
What we're looking for

Prior experience working in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a warehousing, logistics or distribution environment

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using standard office software and inventory management systems

A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
