About the role

A varying range of shifts will be available and participant support requirements may include, personal care, transportation, community access, activities of daily living and independent living skills.

About you

You are a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual with a real passion to make a difference to the lives of people living with a disability. As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

• A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
• Experienced in implementing positive behaviour support strategies to manage complex behaviours
• Experience supporting NDIS participants with physical and psychosocial disabilities
• The ability to communicate and appropriately respond to the needs of people with disability
• Passion for building strong relationships and rapport with participants
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation
• First Aid Certificate
• Drivers Licence
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
• Legal working rights in Australia
