About the role

This is a full-time Excavator Operator role based in Upper Coomera, QLD 4209. You will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to carry out essential earthworks and civil construction projects for Ultimate Earthworks and Civil, a leading provider of construction services.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to complete a variety of earthmoving tasks including digging, trenching, and loading materials

2. Carry out maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

3. Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to complete projects on time and to a high standard

4. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site

5. Maintain detailed logs and records of work performed

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the Construction industry

2. Competent in operating a range of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders and backhoes

3. Sound understanding of construction methods, techniques and safety protocols

4. Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings

5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

6. A current High-Risk Work Licence for Excavator Operation

7. Excellent physical fitness and stamina to carry out physical work in outdoor environments
