Are you ready to unleash your inner rockstar? Northern Star is seeking a Project Geologist - Growth to join our team of Geological Rockstars in the heart of the Kalgoorlie gold field. As a Growth Geologist, you'll use your analytical and technical expertise to unlock the secrets of geological data, identify key features, and drive the success of our cutting-edge geology projects. With a family-friendly 8:6 or 5:2/4:3, roster and a dynamic, supportive work environment, you'll be challenged to reach new heights of excellence and rewarded for your contributions.

Here’s what awaits you:

    • Selecting targets and planning drill holes to reveal the geological secrets of the Kalgoorlie Gold Field.
    • Creating detailed wireframes of geology and mineralisation to guide our exploration efforts.
    • Mentoring and training fellow geologists, passing on your passion and expertise to the next generation of Geological Rockstars.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Possess a fundamental understanding of geology and its processes, with a strong grasp on rock types and mineralogy, ability to analyse and interpret geological data effectively using advanced software and tools to unlock the secrets hidden beneath the surface.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Geology (minimum degree), current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence.

Passion for Growth: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles and collaborate with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
