We are currently seeking Permanent Part-Time and Casual Support Workers to support clients in their own homes and local communities across nearby suburbs. This role sits within our Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) program, which delivers low-intensity, person-centred supports to help individuals maintain independence, strengthen community connections, and continue living safely in their own homes.

About the Role
In line with QCSS objectives, you will provide low-intensity, non-clinical supports that promote independence and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
Empowering clients to maintain independence and achieve personal goalsProviding domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationSupporting social and community participation through companionship and outingsAssisting with personal care and daily routines as requiredTransporting clients safely and assisting with errands using your own vehicleWorking independently while building respectful, trusting relationships that uphold dignity, choice, and privacy
What You Will Bring:
Strong communication skills and the ability to support and motivate clients toward independenceA genuine passion for supporting others with a caring, reliable, and compassionate approachUnderstanding of person-centred and strengths-based support, consistent with QCSS principlesCurrently enrolled in, or completion of, a Certificate III or higher in:Individual Support , Aged Care, Disability or related field (minimum 120 placement hours completed)
Ability to work autonomously and responsibly in a community-based setting Essential Requirements
